Demo mixed infestation

Plan D

Not a good choice

Growing of the Innovator cultivar directly resulted in a good suppression of the pallida infestation. This means that yield loss caused by this nematode is very small. Because no green manure crop has been grown after the winter wheat crop, the populations of M. chitwoodi and P. penetrans both decrease. Tulips are no host for M. chitwoodi; this results in a further decrease in population. P. penetrans does reproduce on tulips. The fodder radish grown after the tulips increased P. penetrans still further resulting in a large yield loss in potato cultivation in 2014 caused by this nematode.
