The best choice
The cultivation of tulips with fodder radish as green manure crop considerably reduced the infestation at the start, which –although it did not prevent reproduction on the succeeding crops– remained lower than in all other preceding scenarios. Comparison of the chance of detection with the Combi sampling method shows that this is in this scenario lowest just prior to potato cultivation in 2015. This scenario therefore resulted in the lowest increase in infestation.
